This year the Bass Coast Community Foundation celebrates 20 years of giving to the local Bass coast Community.

The Foundation was founded in 2022; as a community owned, independent, and non-for-profit organisation, to provide a vehicle for sustainable long-term funding for community driven initiatives, and to make our local communities stronger, more resilient, and healthy.

To date, we have distributed well over $1million to individuals and organisations in Bass Coast supporting education and development, the performing arts, energy innovation, learner drivers, youth and older people, along with other local projects.

By partnering with local organisations, we can be agile in understanding and responding to the needs of the Bass Coast community on the ground. The current strategic areas of focus include reducing the incidence and risk of homelessness and housing stress; and increasing aspirations of young people and opportunities for local women and girls.

The Foundation would like to invite all community members in joining us in marking this significant contribution on Friday November 18^th, 6.30 pm at the Cape Patterson Surf Lifesaving Club.
